All the new buddies!

We've almost been here for two months now! Crazy! But awesome! I have to say, one of my favorite parts about being here is the kids. They are amazing. Sometimes I can be having a bad day and these kids just cheer me right up...however the opposite is also true. But we take the good with the bad sometimes! So without further ado, here are a few of my favorite students!

Gregory!
Gregory is one of my favorite students here. He is in my elementary class. He's crazy smart and hands down the smartest student in the class. But he's a little...quirky. Therefore the other students tend to pick on him a little bit. That doesn't stop me from loving him though! And yes, that is a sucker in his mouth.

Gera!
This is the best picture I could manage to get of Gera. He's a little camera shy. Actually, he just likes to do the opposite of what you want him to do. Love/hate relationship with this kid. Gera is really smart and a great speaker but he loves to disobey with his cousin Andrey. Which brings us to...

Andrey!
Man, this kid. Again, really smart but he loves to push buttons. His mom works at the school though which is an excellent thing to hang over his head when he gets out of hand. He can focus really well other times and he is pretty entertaining.

Polina!
Polina slightly reminds me of myself as an Elementary school student. I can't quite put my finger on it though. I'll think about it. She's not quite as advanced as those boys but she tries hard. She is always asking me if we can play tic tac toe. Which was funny the first day. Now it is not funny. I'll talk about the other two Elementary kids later. But for now it's on to...

The Girls!
We really do just call them "the girls." It's a group of girls that we tend to try and keep together because they work pretty well all together. From left to right it's Catia, Natasha (covered by Catia's arm), Nastia, Liza (up top), Alisa, and Alena. They're all relatively good and smart girls (except Nastia who spends all of class watching herself in any mirror available and singing Russian pop songs)

The other girls!
I really like a lot of the girls in this group! They're (left to right again) Leera, Alisa, Liza, Veronika, and Varia. Veronika is one of my favorite students! She's adorable and she's obedient and I just like her! But please take notice of Varia sobbing in the corner. She cried all day that day because she didn't get to wear the butterfly wings in the first part of English class. Tragic and hilarious all at once.

Vanya (and Yegor creeping in the back)!
Vanya has been our favorite this week. We tend to choose a new favorite every week and he's been it! Doesn't he just remind you of a puppy? His favorite phrase? "I want a chokyen bag!" (aka "I want a token bag")

Bogdon!
Love this kid! Hands down, my absolute favorite! The first day I met him I had been having a not so great day but his day seemed to be even worse. He had just been sick and was still not feeling well so he sat with me during all twenty minutes of opening and then wouldn't let me go. It was adorable! And he's liked me ever since! This was the next day when he was trying to tickle me.

Andrey and Meera!
Confession. For the first few weeks we called her Meera only to find out that her name is Leera. But Meera sounds cuter so we just switch back and forth. Andrey is a cute kid but get's ridiculously wild in class. And Meera is just ridiculously cute! They're a precious little couple though.

And there are a few of my students. You better like this post because it took me forever to do it. Plus, there are some ridiculously cute kids here. How could you not enjoy it?

I think your falling for these kiddos, you'll be so attached by the time you leave, or maybe not. I'm attached to you.
