My first favorite book

Today I was reorganizing my books because they just weren't fitting on my shelves anymore and I found something that made me quite excited.
My favorite book when I was in first grade was "Buddy The First Seeing Eye Dog." It was at a fourth grade level...I was pretty proud of myself. This was one of the first books that I ever remember reading and truly loving. I think I read it more times than I could count, which is a lot because I could count pretty high! I like to think that this book was what really got me into reading. Of course other factors were involved, but this is one of the earliest memories I have of reading and loving it.
But I guess it helped me to love dogs too!

Awww! Yup, I remember that book lying around everywhere! My favorite books were No Flying in the House and the Fairy Rebel. Ooooo, I've been looking for something fun to read - maybe I'll revisit my childhood and read those ones! Thanks for the great idea! LOL!

Nic you've been holding out on me! I like your blog, and the background is sweet! Also, I very much enjoy reading about reading so your blog is double awesome!
You should publish this even more, like on facebook and stuff.

Also, did this book make you like blind people as well? :)
